RS079 750mW Integral Rotary Stirling Cryocooler for Cooled Infrared Detectors
RS079 is one of the integral rotary stirling cryocooler series developed by Global Sensor Technology (GST). It provides a miniature closed cycle cooling system to ensure a cryogenic working environment for the normal operation of stirling cooled detectors.
Its motor windings are separated from the working gas to prevent contamination. High wear-resisting coating and clean room assembly are applied to prolong the lifetime and high reliability. For compactness, the electronic drive is built-in. An onboard temperature sensor offers stand-by, remote shutdown and over-temperature protection options. With high performance, RS079 dewar cooler assembly is designed to meet the demand for high cooling power of the large FPA formats.
Global Sensor Technology is a supplier of thermal infrared detectors and infrared camera module. After years of industrial application experience, we are capable to provide professional, efficient and convenient solutions for customers in all industries with its core technology of independent R&D infrared detector.

The RS079 integrated dewar cooler assembly is used for provide cryogenic environment for the cooled infrared detectors.
1.How does uncooled focal plane array microbolometer work?
By using the principle of infrared radiant thermal effect, the uncooled infrared detector converts infrared radiation energy into heat energy with infrared absorption material, so that the temperature of the sensitive material increases. Then, a certain physical parameter of the sensitive material changes accordingly and converts into electrical signal or visible light signal through a certain conversion mechanism designed to realize the detection of the object.
2. What's the advantage of uncooled vox microbolometer?
Uncooled infrared focal plane detector does not need an Integrated Dewar Cooler Assembly (IDCA) device and can work at room temperature. It has the advantages of fast start, low power consumption, small size, light weight, long life, low cost and so on. Although the sensitivity of uncooled infrared focal plane detector is not as good as that of cooled infrared detectors, after years of development, its cost performance has been obviously better than the cooled detector, which has a broader application prospect.
