Vehicle Mounted Infrared Thermal Camera with 384x288 / 17μm Uncooled Infrared Detector
N-Driver384S vehicle-mounted infrared module offers thermal imaging night system for drivers to drive safely in the car. It integrates 384x288 / 17μm uncooled LWIR detector that is developed by Global Sensor Technology (GST).
Compared with traditional night vision system, N-Driver384S automotive thermal camera enhances observation field of view and detection distance. Its synchronous monitoring of the front area of the vehicle makes the driver obtain clear road information at any time. Drivers can see clear image beyond the reach of vehicles' headlights. By providing intelligent alarm based on a lot of model trainings and a set of mature AI algorithms, N-Driver384S is able to enhance the detection of pedestrians, cyclists, animals and vehicles so as to better identify targets, avoid obstacles and give warning in advance.
This vehicle mounted thermal camera is also effective to eliminate the interference of high beams from oncoming vehicles, increasing drivers' perception towards the surrounding environment and seeing distance in darkness or bad weather so that the safety of drivers, passengers, pedestrians and vehicles can be guaranteed.
- Wide Observation Field of View
- Intelligent Alarm System
- All-weather Application
- High Speed Data Transmission
- High Reliability & Stability

The N-driver 384S automotive thermal imaging camera is widely used in Advanced Driver Assistance System.
1. What is NETD?
NETD refers to "Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference". It is a measure for how well a thermal imaging detector is able to distinguish between very small differences in thermal radiation in the image. NETD is typically being expressed in milli-Kelvin (mK). Usually the lower the NETD figure is, the higher the thermal sensitivity indicates.
2. What is SWaP3?
SWaP3 refers to size, weight, power, performance and price. It indicates the technology trend of infrared industry.
3. What is DRI?
DRI usually refers detection, recognition and identification distance of a thermal imaging system. It is a crucial parameter to judge the performance of the thermal imaging system.
