IR522-WM Handheld Continuous Optical Zoom Uncooled Thermal Imaging Binoculars
IR522-WM is a multi-functional handheld uncooled thermal binocular with continuous optical zoom. Combined with dual sensors, the IR522-WM thermal imaging binocular could output clear thermal imaging with 640x512 resolution in total darkness or even in harsh environments with poor light condition. It also integrates the visual camera that offers field of view more than 3°x2.2°.
This binocular is able to locate target in daylight and at night and has a high performance laser rangefinder that ensures accurate location of target. It is dedicated to long range target location and surveillance.
- With high accuracy, repeat frequency, stable laser rangefinder
- Support self and target positioning function that has fast operation, strong signal and high accuracy
- With target recognition and mark functions

1.Thermal imaging binoculars vs. night vision binoculars
Compared with thermal imaging binoculars, night vision binoculars are much cheaper.
Thermal imaging binoculars collect infrared radiation and turn it into a thermogram. They don’t rely on light and nor emit infrared ray actively. They can be effective in day and night which has poor light conditions or total darkness and even in harsh environments such as rain, snow, dust and haze etc.
While night vision relies on visible light. They collect ambient light, moonlight or starlight and amplify it to detect targets in the dark. They cannot be used during the day, because they maybe damaged. And also they cannot see through bushes, smoke, fog or rain.
